Marina del Rey: Full-Time Flexible Infant Nanny *Position Filled*

by | Jobs

FLEXIBLE | CONFIDENTIAL | POSITIVE

Are you an experienced nanny looking for your next full-time position with a loving family? Would references describe you as proactive, super flexible, patient, and positive? Does the idea of working with a baby excite you? If you said, “Absolutely!” then we have the job for you!

Family Syllabus: A loving family in Marina del Rey is looking for a patient nanny to help them care for their sweet 7-month-old daughter. Their daughter is a happy, babbling, movement-motivated little one that enjoys making bubbles with her mouth, and learning from all her surroundings. They want a nanny who is thoughtful, professional, and can support their daughter with age-appropriate developmental milestones as she grows. A nanny who is a team player, happy to communicate with the housekeeper, and open to helping the family with all child-related clean-up would fit right in. Both parents will be working inside and outside of the home.

Ideal Candidate: The family’s ideal candidate is positive, confidential, and patient. A nanny who is familiar with transitioning infants from breastfeeding to bottles and solids, and enjoys engaging in different types of stimulating age-appropriate infant to toddler activities would be a good match. If you speak a second language this would be a bonus for the family! Candidates that can swim, and are open to running baby-related errands and doing child-related light household tidying are encouraged to apply. A college degree is not required for this role. Please have a clean, reliable vehicle to transport the baby to the park, and future activities.

Job Synopsis: The schedule for this position is Monday and Friday from 10 am until 6 pm and Tues/Wed/Thurs from 9 am until 7 pm with the flexibility to arrive earlier and stay later. The family schedule is 44-50 hours per week. This role is paying $30-$35/hour gross plus overtime with two weeks of paid vacation, 48 hours of paid sick time, paid holidays, and a $300 monthly medical stipend. No overnights or travel will be required for this position.

Vaccine requirements: The family is requesting a nanny who has been vaccinated for MMR, flu, Tdap, and is COVID vaccinated and boosted.
