Mid-Wilshire: Part-Time Nanny/Family Assistant *Position Filled*

Family Syllabus: A wonderful family of 4, located in Mid-Wilshire is seeking an engaging, creative and experienced nanny to join their home to help care for their two children! Their daughter is 7 years old and in the 1st Grade. She loves to make art and do science experiments! Their son is 3 years old and attends preschool. He is into trucks, construction, and sand play! These sweet and creative children love to play and be engaged! Both children attend school, their daughter attends M-Th 8 am-1 pm, F 8 am-12 pm and their son attends T,W,Th 8:30 am-11:30 am. Mom and dad both work at home.

 Ideal Candidate: Their ideal Ideal nanny is proactive, creative, and can get down on the floor and really play and engage with their children! This family would like a nanny who is honest, reliable, and truly loves working with children! A nanny with a strong imagination who loves to sing silly songs, and enjoys being active by taking walks and scooter rides in their lovely neighborhood and playing outside in the backyard would be ideal! Please be a strong and safe swimmer, as they want someone who will get in the pool and swim with the children.

 Job Synopsis: While your number one priority is the children, they would love someone who could help to keep the children’s toys organized and help to keep their room tidy. If there is time they would like help with washing the children’s laundry and unloading/loading the dishwasher, ordering groceries, and making sure items are stocked. A huge plus for the family if the nanny can make and pack lunches and an even bigger help if they can meal prep or even cook basic family dinners! The schedule for the role will be Mondays and Fridays 7/7:30 am – 2/2:30 pm, Saturday 9:00 am – 2/2:30 pm (and once a month or so Saturday 4/5 pm – 9/10 pm instead of morning). The family will guarantee 20 hours per week and Saturdays are optional. They can be flexible for the right fit. They would like a candidate who is willing to take on more hours and days from mid-July to mid-September, possibly Mon-Fri 7/7:30 am-2:30 pm. This role is paying $25 – $35/ hour gross and paid sick time. No overnights at this time. Travel not required, but they would like a nanny who would love to travel with them in the future! Please have a reliable vehicle to commute to work, but no transporting of the children will be required.

 COVID requirements: Please be taking COVID seriously, wearing a mask in public, and following all CDC guidelines. The family is open to have a discussion about the COVID Vaccine.
