Family Syllabus: A high-profile family in Montecito is looking for a career nanny to help care for their 4-year-old daughter. They just welcomed their second child about two months ago. The care will initially be for the 4-year-old as they will have an NCS for their son for the first 4-6 months! Their daughter is very bright, playful, and loves to swim and be outside! They are seeking a team-oriented nanny who enjoys being creative, swimming, imaginative play, and coming up with a variety of age-appropriate, educational games and activities. Both parents work in the home and are super hands-on. They also have a housekeeper and other household staff members that have been with them long term. They are looking to add a team of nannies for the long haul!
Ideal Candidate:The family’s dream nanny has years of experience caring for preschool aged children and infants, is flexible to travel domestically and internationally, has a positive attitude, likes to have fun, is super warm, and is an excellent communicator. They are seeking a nanny who will support them in gentle parenting, validating big feelings and emotions, and talking through choices, while also having boundaries and consistency. A college degree is preferred, but not required. Candidates who are proactive and willing to help out where needed will exceed this family’s expectations. Job Synopsis: Spend your days with the sweetest 4-year-old on the block. Tidying up the children’s play areas, and bedrooms, and keeping up with the children’s laundry will be required. The schedule for this position is rotational for 4 days on and off at a time with flexibility to work 10-12 hours while on rotation. They will have a newborn care specialist caring for their newest addition for the first few months. The pay for this role is $40-$43/hour gross with a guarantee of 40 hours, overtime, and offers benefits including paid vacation, sick days, holidays, and medical insurance! Traveling will be required, so be ready to adventure with this amazing team! Overnights are expected and you must be a safe and reliable driver.
Vaccination Requirements: This family is requesting a nanny with the MMR, Tdap, and flu vaccines.
