Communication is key in every successful nanny/family relationship. When you begin a new job, be sure to establish a preferred mode of communication with the parents. Please keep in mind that some families do not have the ability to speak face-to-face at the end of each day. In this case, text or email could work well. Schedule in and conduct a 6 month and annual review. Keeping the lines of communication open will set both the family and nanny up for success in creating a lasting and positive relationship!
