Family Syllabus: This wonderful family in Brentwood is looking for a modern-day Mary Poppins to help educate their growing baby boy! Their sweet and smiley little guy is currently 13 months old. They are hoping to find a candidate who is a career nanny who will grow with their family for years to come! This family is open to candidates who are open to a live-in position in the future. Both parents work from inside the home and they also have a housekeeper. Please be comfortable working in a home with pets, as the family has two trained dogs.
Ideal Candidate: Rockstar nannies who have longevity in their previous roles and are looking to grow with this family will be the perfect fit. Their dream candidate is truly knowledgeable about child development and educating children. who enjoys following a schedule and who is detail-oriented and organized. Please apply if you are a true go-getter, passionate about childcare, and confident! A college degree is preferred but not required for this role as long as the candidate has an educational background. The family has a pool so please be mindful of water safety and swimming. Nannies who are tech-savvy and will be great communicators are necessary to fulfill the needs in this role. The candidate must know how to operate such devices and can navigate applications for house hold electronics, call boxes, food delivery services, and other organizational programs they use for communication and scheduling. Parents will provide an iPhone and computer as well as a vehicle to run errands. These parents would like a nanny who is fluent in Bengali, but this is a nice to have not a must-have.
Job Synopsis: Spend your days playing with and teaching the cutest kid on the block! Some duties for this position will include keeping the child’s room and toys tidy and clean, preparing healthy meals, and doing the child’s laundry. Engaging with their infant and teaching colors, shapes, and more as they grow is the most important thing to this family! Structuring a curriculum and preparing the child for preschool and acting as a Montessori based teacher is also at the top of this family’s priorities. They have an additional home in CA that they would love for their nanny to travel to with them, occasionally. The schedule for this position will be flexible, with their preference being Monday-Friday from 7:00 am – 3:00 pm. The pay for this role is a range from $35 to 45+/hour gross with paid vacation, sick days, and holidays. Be passport ready and flexible to travel for up to 2 months or more at a time multiple times a year!
Vaccination Requirements: This family is open to both Covid vaccinated and unvaccinated candidates, and they also require the nanny to have all childhood vaccines or be willing to get them.
