Family Syllabus: A sweet family in Cape May, New Jersey is looking for an amazing nanny/family assistant for their two children. They have a 9-year-old daughter and a 10-year-old daughter. This is a neurodivergent family and both children will need a supportive, patient nanny to assist them with any homework and extracurricular activities. The children will both be attending school from 9 am-2 pm during the week. Mom is at home and will need a full-charge nanny/ family assistant to work with her. Please be comfortable with pets as the family has 3 dogs and the nanny will be responsible for occasional vet visits, walks, and feeding.
Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate for this position is a proactive nanny/family assistant who is willing to learn and has great boundaries with an abundance of patience. The children do have tutors that they will be working with, but they would like their nanny to also be able to support any educational needs. The ideal candidate is tech savvy, proactive, compassionate, a total team player, kind, reliable, and has great communication skills. Please be a safe swimmer as they live near the ocean and have a clean and reliable vehicle as driving is required. A college degree is preferred but not required for this position as well as experience with neurodivergent adults/children.
Job Synopsis: The main duties for this role will be assisting the children with their laundry, organizing their closets, and assisting the family with basic cooking, checking emails, scheduling traveling, communicating with teachers, tutors, and doctors, and making sure that mom is in the loop with what is going on. A nanny who is proactive and extremely detail oriented and can be proactive with household tidying. The schedule for this position will be Monday to Friday, 11 am – 7 pm with a guarantee of 40 hours, and an option to stay later some evenings or to assist occasionally on weekends as well. This role is paying within a range of $35-40/hour gross with 2 weeks paid vacation, sick days, and holidays. They are looking for a live-out local candidate, but open to relocating or having someone live-in for the right fit!

Qualifications:
Five years of professional nanny experience
Experience with neurodivergent people/children
CPR/first aid certification
Excellent references
