NURTURING | ENGAGING | SAFE

Are you a career nanny dreaming of teaching the sweetest girls to count to un, deux, trois? Would you love to work full-time with a toddler and a baby? Are you experienced, nurturing, and educated in age-appropriate activities for a soon-to-be preschooler? If you thought, “This is my dream!” we have the most amazing position for you!

Family Syllabus: This growing family in Eagle Rock is looking for the kindest nanny they can find to join their blossoming family! These busy and engaging mothers have two girls ages 17-month-old old and 2 weeks brand new who need patient, loving, and full-time care. The toddler loves music, she is super verbal, and loves to learn! The family also has a cat that will not require care from the nanny but may curl up near the nanny during storytime. The parents work from inside the home on Mondays and Fridays each week, and they are currently on maternity leave.

Ideal Candidate: This fantastic family is hoping to find a progressive nanny who wants to grow with the family for many years to come. A nanny who is experienced and comfortable dealing with a sesame allergy for their toddler and administering medicine or epi-pen in the event of an emergency is required. Bonus if you can speak French! A nanny who provides additional language exposure to the girls would be the absolute perfect fit. A nanny who is well-versed in child development and activities for the toddler for the next year until she goes to preschool would be beneficial, as well as someone who understands the stages of infant development and can assist with safe sleep practices and schedules, feeding an infant, and keeping on a consistent routine.

Job Synopsis: Begin your day with a sweet baby lying in your arms while you’re reading a stack of picture books to the inquisitive toddler, and that’s only the beginning! Exposing the girls to the French language, creating fun, age-appropriate activities as the girls reach new milestones, and connecting with the family for years to come are on this family’s wish list! Additional duties for this amazing role include cleaning up after the children each day and preparing healthy meals for the children and helping with their laundry. The position will be 35-45 hours a week, Monday to Friday from 8:30 am until 5:30 pm. This role is paying between $30-35/hour gross with paid vacation and sick days, paid holidays, and guaranteed pay when the family travels. The family is willing to pay up to $40/hour for candidates who have 10 years of nanny experience, NCS certification, and/or a college degree in child development or education. Please note a college degree is not required for this position. There is a potential for traveling with the family to Paris in 2023, and this is a great opportunity for a nanny who loves to travel, but this is not a deal breaker if you would like to stay home and manage some of the home duties.

Vaccination Requirements: This family is requesting a nanny who is fully COVID vaccinated and boosted, who has Tdap, and is willing to get a flu shot. The family will provide weekly tests as they have a newborn and they also test weekly for work.
