Family Syllabus: This down-to-earth two-home family on the Upper East Side in New York is looking for an exceptional rotational nanny to help care for their bright, energetic, inquisitive, and extroverted 8-year-old son, who is in the third grade. Their son loves soccer, hip hop, squash, tennis, and roller coasters, but in quieter moments, he enjoys origami and experiments in the basement with food coloring and his chemistry set. This family also has younger children who have their own team of nannies. The son’s parents are divorced and share custody of their son, rotating each week. This is a great co-parenting relationship, and they remain extremely close! It is not uncommon for the whole blended family to get together! They have housekeepers and a chef. They are seeking a nanny who can model kindness for their children while still enjoying a creative, fun, and adventure-filled day in a fast-paced environment.
Ideal Candidate: The family’s dream nanny has years of experience caring for children and loves to learn and educate themselves on child development. A nanny who is flexible to travel domestically and internationally. A nanny who is poised, savvy, flexible, and emotionally intelligent. They would love a nanny who is ready to be active and adventurous and help their son with experiments! A nanny who can utilize gentle parenting techniques to support their son. Job Synopsis: Spend your days engaging and exploring with the most inquisitive boy! Tidying up the children’s play areas, working with the chef to prepare the children’s meals, and keeping up with their son’s laundry will be required. The schedule for this position is rotational, with one week on and one week off at a time. Work hours are generally Monday through Friday, 2 pm-8 pm, and 8 am-8 pm on weekends during the rotation with occasional late nights. You will be paid for the 24/7 and on-call the whole shift. The nanny will be expected to take vacations on their off weeks. This role will be live-out on a rotation basis. The pay for this role is $110k-$140k based on experience. A $500 health insurance stipend is provided. The family is open to a Nationwide search and will offer a relocation bonus of $10k. Traveling will be required, so be ready to adventure with this amazing team! Occasional overnights are expected when traveling, and you must be a safe and reliable driver. The family provides a nanny vehicle.

Qualifications:
Local to New York or willing to relocate
Five years of professional nanny experience
At least one year of ROTA experience
CPR/first aid certification
Excellent references
Clean driving record
Travel experience both domestically and internationally
Passport Ready
