Family Syllabus: A bustling hard-working family in Los Feliz is looking for a “Jill of all trades nanny” to help care for their two children, ages 2 years old and 9 months old. These sweet children are inquisitive, active, and super-loving. Reliability, a positive outlook, and open-mindedness will be required for this position. Mom works from home and the family has one cat.
Ideal Candidate: Their ideal candidate is a college-educated career nanny, who is highly confident in their childcare abilities. A nanny that has a go-getter attitude, is highly reliable, and proactive will thrive in this role. Their dream nanny has a team player mentality, a positive attitude, is polite, and an excellent communicator. Nannies that understand the importance of keeping children stimulated, enjoy imaginative play, and are extremely engaging will be required. Their son has expressive speech delay and they would love a nanny who can support him and work with him daily. They are seeking someone that is nurturing, patient, loving, and has gentleness when it comes to children. Nannies that have a deep understanding of infant and toddler milestones and development, can provide parental education and support, and are creative would be amazing. This family needs a nanny who has empathy, intelligence, and a wonderful ability to connect with babies and make them feel loved and safe. Candidates who are safe drivers, have a reliable vehicle, and are strong swimmers will be considered for this role. Flexibility and a team player mentality are definitely key for this role!
Job Synopsis: Additional tasks include lending a hand around the house, children’s laundry, organizing, caring for the cat, tidying up, or anything else that is needed from the family. The general schedule is 5 days a week, 7:30 am – 5:30 pm, but the family is looking for a nanny who is flexible for longer hours if needed. Please note hours could vary, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm or 8:00 am – 6:00 pm. The family is also open to this nanny living in, as the parents do travel. Flexibility will be key as the family would love a nanny that is open to working overnights, weekends and traveling with the family to New York and internationally. Be passport-ready! When traveling the family will pay $100/day travel per diem. The rate for this position is $180k/annually with 10 paid vacation days, sick days, and $5,000 annual health stipend.
