Family Syllabus:These welcoming first-time parents are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Newborn Care Specialist team to begin working with their family asap! They are looking for an NCS team that is well-educated in newborn care who can provide expert guidance and hands-on support during the early months. Both parents work from home, so collaboration and respectful communication within a shared space will be important. The family has a friendly Poodle, so comfort around dogs is appreciated.
Ideal Candidate:This loving family is in search of a highly skilled and experienced Newborn Care Specialist team with a strong background in safe sleep practices. The ideal candidate will offer thoughtful guidance and full support to new parents during the early months, helping them navigate this important transition with confidence. Responsibilities include detailed tracking of feedings, sleep schedules, diaper changes, and behavioral observations, along with clear and consistent communication with the parents. They are seeking a mature, educated, responsible, and emotionally intelligent professional who is organized and deeply knowledgeable about newborn care. A true expert in infant development and routines, the NCS will play a key role in establishing healthy sleep and feeding habits. Local candidates in the Los Angeles area will only be considered, as well as those with a college degree and/or NCS certification.
Job Synopsis:Responsibilities for this nurturing role include gently guiding and educating the parents, while thoughtfully tracking the baby’s feedings, sleep routines, diaper changes, and any behavior shifts. Open, supportive communication with the parents is essential. Additional tasks include caring for the baby’s laundry, keeping bottles and feeding supplies sanitized, and maintaining a clean, cozy, and organized sleep space for the baby. The parents would like the NCS to work 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM for 7 days per week for the next 5 months and they also need an NCS to work the nights from 9:00 PM to 9:00 AM. They are open to having a ROTA NCS team working days for one week on and one week off, and they would like the NCS to be exclusive to their family. The hourly rate for this position ranges from $50 to $74, depending on experience. They would prefer to hire a local NCS team, but they do provide an apartment for an NCS to live if they are traveling to CA for this wonderful position.
Vaccination Requirements:This family is requesting an NCS who has MMR and Tdap. They have a preference for the flu shot as well.

Qualifications:
NCS certificates and/or NCS certification
Five years of professional newborn care experience
CPR/first aid certification
