Family Syllabus: A hard-working and kind couple in beautiful Newport Beach is overjoyed to be welcoming their first child in April 2021, via surrogate. They are looking for an educated and knowledgeable NCS to guide them through parenthood and help care for their newborn! The family is hoping to hire their dream team of support in order to help assist the family in their transition as new parents. There will be two NCS’s along with a daytime nanny to guarantee their newborn will be able to stay on schedule and thrive. Mom will transition back to work outside of the home after the first four months and Dad will continue working from home. This family is vegan and would appreciate a nanny that respects their lifestyle while working in their home and not bring any meat into the home.
Ideal Candidate: Their ideal candidate is affectionate, trustworthy, and outstanding with communication. Someone who is highly proactive takes initiative, and is flexible will be essential to this role. The family is excited to work alongside and learn from an NCS that is highly experienced and excited to offer exceptional knowledge in all phases of newborn care for these first-time parents. They are eager to work with someone who can guide them through all aspects of infant care and education such as feeding schedules, developmental milestones, helping establish daily and nightly routines, and sleep training. The family would love an NCS that is highly detailed oriented and organized when it comes to logging and keeping track of their child’s daily and nightly routine and schedule.
Job Synopsis: The newborn care specialist will be responsible for washing and sterilizing bottles, keeping inventory of supplies, baby laundry, and keeping the nursery tidy. The schedule for this position will be for 6 months from Saturday 7 am until Monday 7 am 24/7 shifts. They will have a weekday NCS and nanny to cover the other shifts, but hope for some flexibility if someone calls out sick. The hourly rate is $35-40/hour. The family will require proof of current MMR, Tdap, and Flu shot.
COVID Requirements: The family is requiring the NCS to wear a mask around the baby indoors. Please be open to regular COVID testing, and plan on getting the COVID vaccine in the future.

Qualifications:
Three years of professional NCS experience
CPR/first aid certification
Excellent references
Clean reliable vehicle
