Family Syllabus: A wonderful family in Pacific Palisades is seeking a live-in or live-out flexible nanny for their niece and nephew, ages 14 and 10. The 10-year old suffers from anxiety and depression and needs a nanny who is understanding and helps support him with keeping him on track. Both guardians work outside of the home and need a reliable person to care for the children.
Ideal Candidate: The best candidate for this position is an educated nanny who is engaging, nurturing, incredibly patient, and has the ability to help the children understand their emotions. Someone who feels confident supporting the children with homework help, inspiring creativity, and fostering a love for learning. These children will thrive alongside a nanny who is fun-loving, and friendly while being able to provide structure, safety and sets positive boundaries. Someone who is creative, adventurous, firm yet caring, and is a positive role model, will be the absolute best fit! Local candidates only. All candidates must have at least 2 years of experience working in a private household, and a resume that shows longevity.
Job Synopsis: Additional duties include, preparing healthy meals for the children, transporting children to activities, running errands as needed, homework help, and grocery shopping. A nanny who can help teach them life skills like tidying up their room and bathroom, and assisting with their laundry will be ideal. The schedule for this role is Monday – Friday between the hours of 7 am – 8 pm. Ideally, the schedule would be split, 7 am – 8:30/9 am, with hours of time off, and then again from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm. However, the family is open to candidates who can only do the afternoon/evening shift. This great opportunity is paying $30-$35/ hour gross with paid vacation and paid sick time. A nanny vehicle will be provided, so please be a safe and reliable driver. The nanny will have their own large private room with an ensuite bathroom and walk-in closet if they choose to live-in. This room is a separate area of the home but does not have a separate entrance. They would love the nanny to be flexible for potential overnights. No travel is needed at this time.
COVID requirements: Please be taking COVID seriously, wearing a mask in public, and following all CDC guidelines. A family is requiring a nanny or manny who has the COVID vaccine.
