Family Syllabus: An active family of five, in Pacific Palisades is looking for a Nanny/ Family Assistant to join the team! The parents work from inside the home and they have a nanny who works during the first part of the day. The children attend a school nearby from 8am-3pm. Their children love arts and crafts, riding their scooters in the neighborhood, swimming in the pool, and being creative and active. Their 3 year old daughter loves ballet and gymnastics and their 5 year old son enjoys soccer and t-ball. Their newest addition was welcomed in early June.
Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate for this position is super flexible, proactive, fun, and who is excellent at organization. Be ready to spend your days assisting the family and your afternoons actively playing with the children and taking them to extra curricular activities. A nanny who is comfortable with infants and toddlers, well-versed in the developmental stages of childhood, gets down on the ground to play, uses gentle parenting, and truly has a passion for children is the ideal match. This perfect nanny will be a great communicator and will work as a team with their current nanny and the parents. A nanny who is very comfortable swimming with the children is a must as the family has a pool. Be passport ready to travel domestically and internationally.
Job Synopsis: Duties related to this position will include stocking the pantry, food prep, cleaning the children’s play areas, taking care of the children’s laundry, picking up the dry cleaning and other household errands, working on household projects, and taking the children to their after school activities. This will also include cleaning and sanitizing bottles, pumps, and the babies area.The schedule for this position will be a guarantee of 40 hours working Monday through Friday 11am-7pm and flexibility to work occasionally date nights and weekend days. The rate for this role is $40/hour gross with benefits such as paid time off, holidays, and sick days.
