A delightful family in the Pacific Palisades is seeking a proactive and engaging nanny/personal assistant that can jump right in with their busy schedule. This bustling family includes two wonderful children, ages 13 and 6, along with a dog, two cats, and a pony! They are seeking a nanny who can help collaborate with the family, as the mother is in the home fulltime, and other household staff members to keep the home and family organized. A Jill of All Trades who can work in an atmosphere where they can multi-task, take initiative, and be resourceful will succeed in this position!

The family is looking for someone who is reliable, adaptable, nurturing, an animal lover, and detail-oriented. The ideal candidate can support, love and encourage the children while keeping them on track with their busy schedules. A nanny who has experience assisting with homework and educational projects, along with supporting the children with their after school/extracurricular activities would be supreme. This family are big animal lovers and would need a motherly nanny who is completely comfortable with caring for pets (dogs and cats) in the home. Please be ready to spend time at the stables, as the children are devoted horseback riders. The nanny must be able to swim as well.

The family would like help with daily housekeeping, laundry, running personal errands for the family and pets, and transporting the children from school and to extra-curricular activities. Ideally, someone who has experience with cooking and can prepare healthy, simple, quality dinners five nights per week for the family. The ideal candidate needs to be flexible with their hours and can accommodate changes per the children’s school schedule, stay for occasional overnights, and travel if needed. A nanny who is also comfortable housesitting while the family is traveling would be great. The basic schedule can be Monday-Friday from noon until at least 4-5 PM and rarely past 8-9 PM or the family would guarantee 40 hours a week from 12-8 pm if you are a wonderful cook. Summer hours would change, but notice would be given at least a few weeks in advance. The family will consider full-time hours if you have extensive cooking experience, a culinary degree, or experience as a sous chef.

The rate $25-35/hour gross DOE with paid vacation, sick days and holidays. A nanny vehicle is an option. A degree is not required but preferred.
