A French family located in the Pacific Palisades is looking to hire an experienced full-time private educator for their three children, male and female twins age 5, and one three-year-old daughter. The private educator will be expected to understand the French educational system which is play-based and academic. They will provide and create lesson plans, curriculum, monitor and check the children’s progress, and find inventive and creative ways to make learning fun and stimulating. A master’s degree in education is preferred and the candidate must be super proactive.

This is a fully staffed home, so the educator will be expected to collaborate with the nanny to map out additional activities in the afternoon such as arts and crafts and outdoor play. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience teaching preschool and kindergarten age children who can offer structure are educationally focused, and detail-oriented is required. The ideal candidate will be kindhearted, understand children’s milestones, thoughtful, great with communication, and able to provide emotional and academic stability. Please be comfortable around pets, as the family has a cat. The family is requiring a COVID test and a face shield.
The schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 8:30/9-2:30/3 pm and they can be flexible with the schedule. The family may travel domestically via private plane or car and would love the educator to travel with them, but it is not required. The hourly rate is $35-60/hour gross. This amazing opportunity starts at the beginning of September.
