Family Syllabus: This wonderful family has four lively teenage children who are in school, and the primary focus of care will be on their dynamic 12.5-year-old daughter. She has a rare genetic disorder and type 1 diabetes, so experience with special needs and managing diabetes or a willingness to learn is highly preferred. This family enjoys spending time together, exploring the world, and having fun adventures. They are looking for a loving and reliable nanny to provide one-on-one care, guidance, and companionship for their daughter.
Ideal Candidate: This family is seeking an intuitive, compassionate nanny with experience in special needs care, someone who is kind, loving, and truly values connection. They are looking for a nanny who is engaging, present, and sees every moment as an opportunity for learning and growth alongside their tween. The ideal nanny will become a trusted part of the family, offering support and understanding while meeting the unique needs of their daughter. We placed a wonderful nanny with this family two years ago, and she’s been thriving ever since—now she simply needs a bit of additional support!
Job Synopsis: Duties for this position will include assistance with shopping, helping to feed and bathe their child, and handling pickups and drop-offs to and from school and any activities. Helping with after-school homework and keeping the kids organized would be ideal. The schedule for this position is best described as “Choose your own adventure!” The family would be appreciative of support any days of the week between 5 pm – 9/10 pm and/or weekends between 10 am – 4/5 pm. They are flexible and looking to find the right fit, and their goal is to have 25-30 hours of support. This role pays $40-45/hour gross with paid vacation, holidays, and sick time. Overnights may occasionally be required, and please be excited to travel with this sweet family for one week at a time.

Qualifications:
Five years of professional nanny experience
CPR/first aid certification
