Family Syllabus: This sweet family in the Fairfax district is looking for an incredible nanny for their adorable baby girl! Their daughter will be 4-months-old at the start date of this position, and they are excited to find an experienced, warm, long term fit to join their family. Their daughter is happy, smiley, and loves tummy-time. She is starting to show interest in rolling over, and loves music! Mom works from inside of the home and dad works outside of the home. Mom has a cat allergy, so a nanny without a cat is preferred.
Ideal Candidate: This family’s ideal candidate is knowledgeable in child development and upcoming infant milestones, preferably Montessori and conscious discipline. Ideal qualities of the candidate are organized, highly competent, intelligent, patient, kind and compassionate. They would like a nanny that is a good communicator and a natural problem solver. A nanny who is creative with age-appropriate activities, sleep and feeding schedules, has knowledge in handling breast milk, and baby-led weaning is a must. Someone who can keep the child’s sleeping and play areas clean and tidy, take care of their daughters laundry, and meal prepping for their daughter once she starts solids, would be the perfect combination of skills! They would like their daughters’ environment to be screen free.
Job Synopsis: This sweet family would love a nanny to help care for their daughter and keep her on track with age appropriate milestones. Duties related to this position will include preparing age appropriate activities for their child, cleaning the child’s play areas, taking care of the child’s laundry, bottle washing, cleaning the breast pump, prepping their daughters food, and other common household chores that need to be completed while the parents are working. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday 8 am-1 pm with occasional flexibility for date nights and weekends. This role is paying $35/hour gross.
Vaccination Requirements: This family is requesting a nanny who is up to date with TDAP, MMR, and flu vaccines.
