Family Syllabus: This sweet family of three in Los Feliz is looking for an exceptional nanny/family assistant to help care for their bright, energetic, inquisitive, and creative daughter, while pitching in around the home to keep everything running smoothly! Their daughter is 2 years old and attends a school nearby, Monday-Friday, 9 am – 2:30 pm. Their daughter speaks English, Japanese, and Korean. Mom and Dad both work inside and outside of the home, and they have a housekeeper who takes care of the deep cleaning for the home.
Ideal Candidate: The family’s dream candidate has years of experience caring for children, a great sense of humor, gratitude, and impeccable organizational skills. A nanny who enjoys creating delicious, healthy meals with whole foods for their daughter would be a dream! They would like a nanny who has a pleasant disposition, an affinity for children, good moral character, and who is emotionally intelligent. They are hoping to find a nanny who can grow with their family for years to come! They would love a nanny who is adventurous and helps their daughter with outings and activities! Someone kind, excellent at communication, and well-informed would be exactly what is needed for this role. A background in child development is strongly preferred but is not required. A nanny who is fluent in English and can speak Japanese, Korean, or another language would be a huge bonus! This family is open and excited to offer multicultural experiences for their daughter!
Job Synopsis: Spend your days engaging and exploring with the most inquisitive little girl and keeping the home running smoothly! Responsibilities will include preparing healthy meals and snacks, preparing lunch for the next day, running errands, assisting with household tasks, school pick up, keeping her play areas tidy, setting up playdates and activities, and keeping the daughter busy with outings and adventures! The schedule is Monday through Friday from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., with flexibility to come in earlier or stay later as needed. This family is guaranteeing up to 40 hours a week, but is open to expanding the hours for the perfect match! The rate for this position is $40 per hour with paid sick time. A safe and reliable driver is essential, and a safe vehicle to transport their daughter is required.
Vaccination Requirements: This family is requesting a nanny who has all standard immunizations. Please be open to receiving the annual flu vaccine.
