Family Syllabus: This amazing family in Hancock Park is looking for an exceptional part-time nanny to help care for three bright, energetic, inquisitive, and creative children. The children range in age from almost 2 to 8 years old. This private household has a team of ROTA nannies and is looking to hire a part-time nanny to support with driving and preparing healthy meals. The family works both inside and outside of the home, and this is a fully staffed household.
Ideal Candidate: The family’s dream nanny has years of experience caring for children and is an exceptional cook. The family is looking for a wonderful, active, and smart person to help care for their kids in the afternoons. Must be a loving and excellent cook, a safe and reliable driver, and someone who brings positive energy to this high-profile home. A nanny who can utilize gentle parenting techniques to support the children and be an extension of the parents would be a dream. A nanny who knows how to read a room and knows when to step in and out and be a true team player would be the perfect fit. Someone kind, excellent at communication, and well-informed would be exactly what is needed for this role. A nanny who is an excellent swimmer and comfortable being in the water with the children is a must!
Job Synopsis: Spend your afternoons transporting children home from school and to activities. Responsibilities will include keeping their play areas tidy and preparing healthy, family-friendly meals such as salads, Thai curry, Italian pastas, and lasagna, as well as kid favorites like mac and cheese, alongside steak, pork chops, and seafood dishes. They appreciate someone confident and creative in the kitchen! Please be open to assisting with light household tasks and help wherever needed. The nanny will also be responsible for supervising swimming and outdoor play. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., with a rate of $40–$45/hour. The family will guarantee 25 hours per week, and the schedule will be closer to 30 hours for some weeks. Flexibility for occasional overnights and travel is required, as well as working on major holidays. The family typically travels 2-3 times per year for about 5 days each time. A safe and excellent driving record is required, and a nanny vehicle will be provided.
Vaccination Requirements: This family is open to candidates who are vaccinated or unvaccinated.
