TODDLER | LIVE-IN | FULL-TIME
Are you a proactive hands-on nanny looking for a wonderful full-time live-in position? Do you have recent toddler experience? Are you kind-hearted, upbeat, and knowledgeable? If so, we would love to hear from you!
Family Syllabus: A loving family of three located in a quiet Pasadena neighborhood is looking for their picture-perfect nanny to help care for their adorable 19-month-old toddler. Dad currently works long and demanding days from home and mom would love the support. This kind family is in need of a live-in proactive go-getter nanny to help this home run smoothly. The nanny will have her own bedroom and bathroom in the home. During Covid-19, the family would like the nanny to live-in full-time 7 days per week. They have podded up with two other families nearby to keep socialization safe during this time. A bonus to being part of this adorable family is enjoying home-cooked nightly meals by dad who is a chef!
Ideal Candidate: This family is looking for a nanny who has many years of toddler experience, a deep understanding of early childhood development, and is knowledgeable and experienced with play-based learning. A nanny who can keep their active little boy engaged, thriving, and happy is of the utmost importance. Safety is a priority with this family, so a clean driving record and experience transporting children, along with being a fantastic swimmer would be required. Their ideal candidate loves to cook and meal prep for children, has a positive attitude and is open to help with running errands and personal assisting tasks such as organizing the kitchen and helping with groceries. A nanny that is fluent in a second language would be a bonus! There is a family dog, an adorable retriever mix, so please be comfortable working alongside a pet in the home. A college degree is preferred, but not required.
Job Synopsis: The nanny will be required to help with light housekeeping such as vacuuming, dusting, laundry, and helping keep the kitchen clean and organized. Running errands, assisting with transportation, and personal assisting tasks will be required as well. A nanny vehicle will be provided. The rate for this position will be $25-$40/hour gross with overtime, paid sick days, and paid holidays. The schedule will be Monday through Saturday from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM.
