Family Syllabus: This busy family of six in Los Feliz is looking for an experienced nanny to help care for their children and maintain an organized household! They have four lively children! They have three girls ages 9, 5, and 3, and a 10-year-old boy. The children attend school from 8/9 am to 3 pm, Monday through Friday. The family has a housekeeper who will take care of the deep cleaning and an additional nanny who helps care for the children. The children are creative and into soccer, ballet, and the arts. This home is boisterous and loving and they have a private chef who cooks for them on the weekend.
Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate is a polished, professional, and highly proactive individual who brings positive energy, strong integrity, and a genuine passion for working with children and families. The family would love a French-speaking nanny, but this is a nice to have not a must have. This role calls for someone with a high EQ who is emotionally intelligent, intuitive, and able to read the room while building warm, meaningful connections with the children. The right candidate will serve as a true partner in the household. They will be communicative, dependable, adaptable, and confident in anticipating the family’s needs. Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can seamlessly multitask, and keeps children engaged through fun, creative, and enriching activities will excel in this role. Job Synopsis: Duties for this position will include driving the children to school and picking them up, grocery shopping and meal prep, engaging with the children, and assisting the family with anything they need. This role will also include occasional errands, birthday party gift buying and planning, organization, and other family assistant duties. The family is open to a variety of schedules. They are open to a weekday nanny and a weekend nanny. The schedule for this position will be longer days for 2-3 days per week, Mon-Fri, between 7 am-7 pm, plus a 4th or 5th day partial afternoon shift on another day of the week from 2 pm to 7 pm, as well as some weekend days. They will guarantee 40 hours per week for this full-time position and two consecutive days off. The family is also open to hiring a weekend nanny to work 12-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday as well. Flexibility to work longer hours and weekends is preferred. This role pays from $40 to $50/hour gross, with paid time off and sick days. Some travel may be requested, but someone open and flexible to occasional overnights would be a bonus. A vehicle will be provided for the candidate to use during working hours to transport children to or from school and to activities. You may be asked to use your own vehicle on the rare occasion another nanny on the team needs the vehicle that day.
