Family Syllabus: This intelligent and highly organized family of seven living in Rancho Santa Fe has three energetic boys that you will be caring for, 9-year-old identical twin boys, and an 8-year-old boy! They are a faith-based family and someone that aligns with that would be ideal. Their sons are creative and active, and participate in after school and weekend sports! They attend a nearby private school, and education is valued in this family. The twins are very different. Twin A is extremely athletic and all boy! He is a leader and very mature. He spends most of his time playing baseball and basketball. Twin B is inquisitive, emotionally intelligent, affectionate, and loving. He loves to play soccer and beach volleyball. Their youngest son is quiet and humble. He loves his time with his mama. He is all boy as well, but very neat and organized. All three boys are excellent readers and do great in school. This family has very limited screen time and it is monitored closely. Both parents work from inside and outside of the home, and they have a giant two-year-old Anatolian Shepherd dog named Max who is a complete love!
Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate for this position is super flexible, proactive, excellent at organization, and has a passion for teaching. An energetic, hands-on, and engaging nanny with a can-do attitude would be perfect for this family. Mom is hands-on with her boys and has the household schedule created perfectly. She would like someone who can work with her as a team and is great at following detailed lists. They would love to find a nanny who is creative and thinks that no job is too big or too small. If you are a natural-born leader who loves to be one step ahead, you’d work great with this family! A nanny who is firm but loving with boundaries and encourages the children to be present in their day-to-day activities is ideal. Their boys work best in a structured environment and will need you to keep them on track and engaged. They would love to have a proactive nanny/assistant to stay with their family for the long haul! A college degree is preferred but not required for this role.
Job Synopsis: This active family needs a positive and intelligent planner who can take charge of their household organization while at the same time, helping care for their children and keeping the boys on track academically. Duties related to this position will include assisting the boys with homework and school projects, picking the children up from school, taking the children to their after-school activities, stocking the pantry, cleaning the children’s play areas, taking care of the children’s laundry, picking up the dry cleaning, following the family calendar and other household errands. The schedule for this position will be Monday through Thursday 12pm-7pm and Saturdays 8am-8pm with flexibility as sports schedules change. Please be flexible to work an earlier shift 1-2 days a week. The pay for this role is $40/hour gross, with a guarantee of 40 hours, paid vacation, sick days, and holidays. Please have a perfect driving record and a clean and reliable vehicle to use on the job. They have an additional vehicle for the nanny to use at times. Travel is not required, but the family would appreciate support while they are away.
