Family Syllabus: Wonderful first-time parents in Santa Monica are looking for a thoughtful, flexible, full-time nanny with great infant experience to help care for their sweet 5-month-old daughter. Their daughter is observant, laughs and smiles a lot, enjoys music, and is learning to roll. They are looking forward to having a nanny who is kind, a team player, very reliable, is confident about infant development, and works with integrity. The family is seeking more of a mother’s helper team player nanny who takes the baby out once in a while in a stroller or to the park for short periods of time once the family has established trust. Someone who loves to be creative and can support their daughter with age-appropriate developmental milestones is essential. Both parents work in and out of the home, are super hands-on, and love spending time with their baby whenever they can.
Ideal Candidate: Their ideal candidate is attentive, has a pleasant demeanor, enjoys spending their day engaging a curious, happy infant, and knows when to step in and step out with involved, loving parents. A nanny who is comfortable narrating, getting down on the child’s level, and validating the child’s feelings and emotions would be a perfect fit. The family is looking for a nanny with experience and knowledge of child development, all stages of a growing child, and has helpful ideas to support the family as well as thoughtful communication skills. They would love a nanny that is highly dependable, nurturing, organized, and loving.
Job Synopsis: The schedule for this position is Mon-Fri from 8/9/10 am until 4/5/6 pm. They are flexible with start and end times. This role is paying $30-35/hour gross and is offering 48 hours of paid sick time, two weeks of paid vacation, 6 paid federal holidays and a monthly medical stipend. No travel or overnights will be required for this position. Other duties for this role include household things related to the baby such as preparing baby food, cleaning dishes, washing bottles, organizing the nursery, and doing baby laundry.

Qualifications:
A minimum of five years of full-time professional nanny experience
CPR/first aid certification
