We have a wonderful opportunity for a nanny to care for two children ages 5 and almost 3 years old in Sherman Oaks and also be an assistant! The ideal candidate has experience with toddlers and/or has been a teacher, a positive and friendly attitude, a great work ethic, creativity, detail-oriented and a passion for child development. Please be organized, clean and have a playful sense of humor.
Most of the care will be for the toddler as the older child is in preschool. Both parents work outside of the home and they are also hands-on parents who subscribe to respectful parenting. Duties include: transporting children to activities, children’s laundry, educational activities, packing lunches, preparing snacks and healthy meals for the children, running errands, organizing and supporting the mom with tasks in her office. Hours are Mon-Fri between 9-6 pm with a guarantee of 40 hours per week. Rate is $20-25/hour DOE with 2 weeks paid vacation, 6 paid holidays and 48 hours of paid sick time. The position will start in January.
Qualifications:
A college degree
5 years of professional nanny experience
CPR/first aid certified
TrustLine certified
Must have a clean, reliable safe vehicle and perfect driving record.
