Family Syllabus: A fantastic family in Sherman Oaks is looking for an amazing total team player nanny to help care for their three children; two boys ages 6.5 and 5, and a 3-year-old daughter. All the kids play together and independently, building with legos and engaging in imaginary play. The oldest is a joke-telling eccentric inventor, the middle is a bookworm who loves to go to the library, and the youngest is game for anything, loving dress-up just as much as playing outside. The two boys are highly gifted with learning differences and the oldest has ADHD. Their daughter is independent, endearing, kind and a joy to care for. The dad is currently working from home and travels two days per week and the mom is an MD who works part-time in the morning. Mom is very hands-on and the nanny is typically caring for one or two children at a time, but the nanny must be qualified to care for three children on a rare occurrence. The nanny is considered part of the family.
Ideal Candidate: Their ideal candidate is a compassionate, thoughtful, inspiring nanny who can be a strong support system as their children learn and grow. The parents prefer a nanny who has knowledge and skills with special needs and/or child development. Please be kind, yet firm and know how to interact with and love children through challenging moments. A college degree is not required for this role. Please also have a reliable vehicle and a clean driving record.
