Family Syllabus: This incredibly kind family in Sherman Oaks is looking for a part-time nanny! The family has three wonderful children, 5 and 3-year-old girls and a 4-month-old boy. They also have one quiet cat who may need to be fed. The parents work from inside the home.

 

Ideal Candidate: This family’s ideal nanny is extremely patient, kind, and loving and doesn’t take things personally if one of the children is having an off day. They would love to have someone be a part of their team who is familiar with a highly sensitive child who needs support with executive functioning skills, and candidates with special needs experience would be incredible. Someone well-versed in gentle parenting would fit in perfect with this family. This family would also love to have a nanny who is familiar with or comfortable following a Kosher lifestyle at home! The children have allergies to peanuts and the oldest child is allergic to cats, so be mindful of these allergies and be open to being trained with an Epi-pen. Please enjoy swimming and going on adventures with the children.

Job Synopsis: Spend your afternoons deep in pretend play with the two young girls while the baby naps. Build the tallest castles and paint the most beautiful dreamscapes with these imaginative children. Other duties will include picking up and organizing the playroom, modeling a routine and good habits for the growing children, and cleaning up after snacks and meals. Handling the children’s laundry and preparing healthy snacks and the occasional dinner will also be required. The schedule for this position is Monday-Thursday 2 pm-7 pm and Friday 1 pm-6 pm. This role is paying $30-35/hour gross. Overnights will occasionally be required if the parents are out of town. Travel will not be required. Please have a clean, reliable vehicle that is ready for carseats!

Vaccination Requirements: This family requests a nanny who is fully COVID vaccinated and boosted with the bivalent vaccine and willing to be tested if exposed to COVID.

Roll Call: This amazing position starts January 2nd and goes through March 1st.

Qualifications: 

Five years of professional nanny experience

CPR/first aid certification

Excellent references
