Are you a nanny that enjoys caring for infants? Do you have at least 1 year of newborn experience? Are you looking for a full-time schedule working along with a SAHM? If you said “absolutely!” Then we have a fantastic opportunity for you!

Family Syllabus:  A loving family in Silver Lake is looking for a compassionate nanny for their adorable 10-week old daughter. These first-time parents are excited to work alongside a nanny who has newborn and infant experience and has a genuine knowledge and passion for child development.  Mom is a stay at home and dad currently works from home. This family does have two small dogs. Mom is searching for a nanny who can be mostly a mother’s helper to her and collaborate with her on raising their child.

Ideal Candidate: The ideal nanny will engage their daughter with language and stimulate her curiosity. They are seeking someone who is nurturing, patient, and compassionate with great communication skills. A nanny that can guide these loving parents through major milestones and assist with establishing daily routines will thrive in this role. Please be a nanny who is level-headed, even-keeled, and easy-going. The family would love a nanny who would enjoy taking their baby out on walks throughout the neighborhood and also pitching in for light household duties or walking the dogs when mom takes the baby on outings alone.  A college degree is preferred but not required. Please have a clean and reliable vehicle and be a safe driver.

Job Synopsis: Additional tasks include tidying related to the baby’s care, emptying the diaper bins, and occasionally doing a store run to purchase supplies related to the baby. A huge plus if you love dogs and would be able to take them out on walks. The schedule for this wonderful opportunity will be Monday through Friday from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm with a guarantee of 40 hours per week with paid vacation and paid sick days. The hourly rate for this job will be $25/hour gross. There will be no overnights or traveling required at this time, but potential travel in the fall. A huge bonus if you could help with cooking family pescatarian meals, but this is not required.
