A wonderful family in Studio City is looking for two knowledgeable and seasoned special needs nannies to work different shifts supporting the family. The positions would focus on being a 1:1 aide and assisting their 9-year-old daughter as well as caring for their 4-year-old son. .
The family is looking for nannies who have ABA training, experience working with children who are non-verbal, have an understanding of complex disorders, and/or experience being an aide or shadow. The ideal candidates are compassionate, kind, patient and have great communication skills. The family would like help with light housekeeping related to the child such as children’s laundry, washing dishes, and tidying up the kitchen after meals. Please be comfortable with pets, as this family has an adorable puppy! There is no travel or overnights required for this position. Please note their current nanny grew with the family for the last 6 years and they are open to training individuals who are eager to learn.
The family is looking to fill two positions, each working one of the following schedules: Monday & Tuesday 8:00 am-12:00 pm, Wednesdays off, Thursday 9:30 am-1:30 pm and Fridays 9:30 am-2:00 pm OR Monday and Tuesday 12:00 pm-3:00 pm and Wednesday from 8:00 am-1:30 pm. The family is offering $25-$27/hour gross DOE. The position starts ASAP.
Qualifications:
Three years of professional nanny experience
ABA Training
Clean reliable vehicle
CPR/first aid certification
TrustLine certified
Excellent references
College Degree
