Family Syllabus: A loving family in Toluca Lake is looking for a proactive and experienced part-time nanny to care for their dynamic 4.5-year-old daughter. They are looking forward to having a nanny who will grow with them and be a team player. Someone who loves to be creative, think outside the box and enjoy a day at the beach or pool, and is a safe swimmer is encouraged to apply! Mom and dad work inside and outside of the home, and the child attends school. Please note that next year the family plans to get a hypoallergenic puppy, so get ready for some cutie pie play time!
Ideal Candidate: Their ideal candidate is trustworthy, has a great sense of humor, outstanding with communication, and has a background in child development or knowledge of RIE. A nanny who has a positive attitude and is helpful around the house will be the perfect fit. Candidates that are highly dependable, proactive, and work with integrity are ideal. Nannies who love to come up with fun games, arts and crafts, and activities to keep children engaged, and provide kind communication are preferred. Someone who is mindful and aware of food allergies as their daughter is allergic to pineapple. The family does have a housekeeper but would appreciate someone to help pick up after any activities or prepare healthy meals made throughout the day. If you speak Spanish or French this is a huge plus. A college degree is preferred, but not required. Please also have a clean and reliable vehicle.
Job Synopsis: The schedule for this position will be Monday-Friday 2:30 pm-7:30 pm with flexibility for help out on weekends. The family is also open to a flexible schedule Wed-Sunday as well. This role is paying $30-$40/hour gross and is offering 2 weeks paid vacation and paid sick days. Additional duties will include making sure the child’s room and playroom are clean and tidy, doing children’s laundry, and preparing basic meals and snacks. Please be open to possible travel for 1-2 weeks at a time and some overnights if both parents are working. There will be longer shifts offered during the month of October while the mom is filming.
