MUSICAL | NURTURING | ENERGETIC
Are you a thoughtful and knowledgeable nanny who loves to sing or play a musical instrument? Do references describe you as energetic, helpful, and reliable? Do you have experience working with newborns, infants, and toddlers? If this sounds like you, check out this great opportunity!
Family Syllabus: A fantastic family of four, located in Valley Village, is looking for their ideal nanny to join their home and help care for their two adorable children, a son who is 2 years old and a daughter who will be 2 months old. Both parents are currently working from home and have been working closely with a newborn care specialist. Their toddler is a high-energy boy who is active, and a joy to be around. He will also be attending preschool in the Fall, Monday – Friday from 8:30 am – 11:30 am. They are excited to collaborate with a nanny who enjoys working closely with the family, as the mom is hands-on and enjoys working as a team to give their children the best care possible! The family also has 2 large dogs who are kept in a separate area of the home.
Ideal Candidate: Their ideal candidate is a nanny who has extensive newborn, infant, and toddler experience and is well-versed in milestones and early childhood development. This family would love a nanny who is accustomed to wearing many hats in the home and can jump right in when needed. Candidates who have a fun and playful side, love to engage the children with indoor and outdoor activities, and are active, will be a great fit! Someone who enjoys cooking and can include their toddler in the meal prep experience is key. Someone who is an extremely safe swimmer and driver is a must! Nannies who are engaging and hands-on, yet calm and patient when working with the children at the same time would be ideal. Nannies who love music, reading, arts and crafts, and have RIE experience are encouraged to apply! Flexibility in your schedule will be highly important for this role!
Job Synopsis: Additional tasks will include washing, folding, and putting away the children’s laundry, keeping the kitchen, playroom, and children’s bedrooms clean, and healthy snack and meal preparation for the children. The schedule is Mon-Fri 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. The rate is $30-$35/hour gross with paid vacation, and sick days. Minimal travel may be required in the future.
