Family Syllabus: This sweet family in Venice is looking for an incredible full-time nanny for their adorable baby! Their daughter is 6 months old and they are excited to find an experienced, warm, long-term fit to join their family. Mom and Dad work from inside the home. They have a sweet 20lb hypoallergenic Bernedoodle, please be comfortable taking the dog on walks with their daughter.
Ideal Candidate: This family’s ideal candidate is knowledgeable in child development philosophies and upcoming infant milestones but is also willing to adapt with whichever style the parents decide to utilize or blend. The ideal candidate will be calm, warm, organized, highly competent, intelligent, patient, a great communicator, able to read a room, comfortable with feedback, and have a strong work ethic. They would like a nanny who loves being inside and outside and is active and engaging in creating age-appropriate activities in both settings. A nanny who is comfortable in social settings and can eventually take their daughter to age-appropriate classes is required. Someone who can keep the child’s sleeping and play areas clean and tidy, and take care of their daughter’s laundry, grocery shopping, and other household errands would be the perfect combination of skills! A candidate who is comfortable cooking for the family occasionally would be a huge bonus. The perfect candidate will be travel-ready for both domestic and international trips! A candidate who speaks Spanish is preferred but not required.
Job Synopsis: Enjoy your days following a routine with the sweetest girl on the block! Duties for this position include doing the laundry and dishes for the baby, and keeping the nursery tidy, organized, and restocked. Occasional grocery and other household errands may be required to assist the family. Please be excited and ready to meal prep purees and solids once this sweet girl is old enough to be sitting up on her own! Please be comfortable preparing occasional lunches for the parents. The schedule for this position will be one week rotational 12-hour day shifts. This role is paying $100,000/year with paid sick days and a $500 medical stipend. Please be extremely flexible for the schedule to change, occasional overnights, and travel.
