Their teens are musical and creative, and both do gymnastics! They attend nearby schools, and education is valued in this family. The mother occasionally works from home, and their family does have a lovely housekeeper in the home during the mornings. They also have one sweet pup who would love to join you on daily walks! A nanny with a can-do attitude, who is energetic, proactive, and observant would be perfect for this family. They would love to find a nanny who is fun, creative, and thinks that no job is too big or too small. If you are a natural-born leader who loves to be one step ahead, you’d work great with this family! A nanny who is firm but loving with boundaries and encourages the children to be present in their day-to-day activities is ideal. Their teens work best in a structured environment, and will need you to keep them on track and engaged (and off their phones)! They would adore an open-minded nanny/assistant with a broad worldview, who is enthusiastic and empathetic! A college degree is required for this role. Bonus if you speak French!
Job Synopsis: This awesome family needs a bubbly and intelligent planner who can take charge of their household organization while at the same time, helping care for their teens and keeping them on track academically. Their housekeeper works in the mornings, and the family is expecting the nanny to be proactive in terms of keeping the house as clean and tidy as when you arrived (or leaving it better than you found it)! Maintaining the calendar, doing the dishes, and keeping their busy teenagers engaged and on top of their homework and tasks will be key! Ensuring the house is tidy, running a few errands here and there, as well as planning, researching, and reserving things for the family would be appreciated. If you are a pro at scheduling and planning and are familiar with Canva or other school platforms, you would be a great match for this role! The family would love a nanny who can plan creative activities with and for their teenagers. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm-9:00 pm with remote family assistant duties for additional hours. There is a 40-hour-per-week guarantee, and the family is requesting a nanny who has full flexibility to come in early on certain days as needed and do a few overnights per year. The pay for this role is $40/hour gross, with paid vacation, sick days, holidays, and a medical stipend. Please have a clean, reliable vehicle to use on the job. Travel is not required, but the family would appreciate support while they are away.
