Family Syllabus: This wonderful family is looking for an amazing nanny to spend their days with their sweet infant daughter! Their daughter likes to be read to, smiles and coos when spoken to and loves playtime. Both parents work both inside and outside of the home.
Ideal Candidate: This family’s ideal candidate is knowledgeable in child development and upcoming infant milestones. If you are organized, highly competent, intelligent, patient, kind, and reliable, this is the job for you! They would like a nanny who is a good communicator, a natural problem solver, collaborative and proactive yet able to follow directions and integrate feedback. A nanny who loves to research and find classes and create age-appropriate activities for their child, while also helping maintain a sleep and feeding schedule, will be the perfect fit. A nanny who can keep the child’s sleeping and play areas clean and tidy, take care of their daughter’s laundry, and prep meals for their daughter would be the perfect combination of skills! A nanny that is able to read a room and assist with running errands or light housekeeping while the baby is sleeping or mom is engaging with the baby would be greatly appreciated. A college degree is not required for this role, but a deep understanding of child development is.
Job Synopsis: Spend your days learning and exploring with the sweetest baby girl! Duties for this position will be fully related to their daughter, including her laundry, preparing healthy meals once she starts solids and snacks, and keeping her room and play areas clean, organized, and tidy. If you are open to running errands, that would be helpful as well. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm, with flexibility to shift hours and/or stay late if the parents need to work late or add a weekend day. This role is paying $35/hour gross with paid vacation, sick days, and holidays. Occasional overnights, weekends, and travel will be required.
